Kabir Akhtar (born January 11, 1975) is an American television director and Emmy-nominated editor, and is also the creator of The Tool Page (), the oldest website dedicated to the Grammy-winning band Tool. Akhtar has been running the website (also known as "toolshed") since 1994; it has been online longer than many popular sites, including mainstays Google, YouTube, and Yahoo!.〔 〕〔 〕〔 〕 Akhtar and his site have gained some notoriety for being the source of several April Fools' Day pranks. == Career == Akhtar's credits include work for ''Arrested Development'', ''New Girl'', ''The Daily Show'', ''Unsolved Mysteries'', ''Behind the Music'', and the ''Academy Awards''.
